Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

Seeing Stars for the week beginning April 14, 2008

Successive full moons in Scorpio

ARIES

There is still a lot of planetary activity in your sign this week to keep you on your toes. Self-discipline is strong so put it to work, you will be amazed at just how much can be accomplished.

TAURUS

There is a real desire for change but no real drive to put it into action. Think long and hard about the purpose for it and what can be implemented so that you can achieve a successful outcome.

GEMINI

Feeling optimistic and positive this week and if there is any group involvement make some long-term goals about where you are heading. Don’t forget to use a little common sense though.

CANCER

Mars still in your sign till early May is helping you come out of your shell and tackle those issues you haven’t had the confidence to do previously. It is no good expecting others to do it for you.

LEO

With two Full Moons falling into your solar fourth house at the end of the week and next month, home and family is highlighted. This could mean heightened activity around the house or concerns regarding family matters.

VIRGO

Remain flexible with your ideas and point of view when dealing with children, particularly teenagers. They may try your patience to the very limit particularly if they adopt a self-righteous attitude.

LIBRA

The scales are still way off balance with a lot of activity in your opposite sign of Aries. You are not one for confrontation but if you are finding your relationship challenging no-one does mediation better.

SCORPIO

There are two successive Full Moons in your sign, one on April 20 and the next on May 20, bringing powerful emotions into play. If harnessed appropriately times of rich emotional experience.

SAGITTARIUS

Others may be making demands on your finances and as you are not the local benevolent fund make sure you explore the reason for the demands before handing over your hard earned cash willy nilly.

CAPRICORN

If you feel that your domestic life is not giving you what it should seek the ways and means to improve it. You will find the experience very rich and rewarding, learning a lot from it.

AQUARIUS

Career or parental concerns will take up much of your time and energy. Try not to stress or obsess because once things start to happen they will move and progress forward very quickly.

PISCES

End of the week sees you questioning the deeper meaning in life. Not satisfied with the superficial or answers that skim the surface you quest for a deeper understanding and reason.

SUCCESSIVE FULL MOONS IN SCORPIO

On April 20  and May 20 the universe provides two successive Full Moons in the intense sign of Scorpio. “Once in a Blue Moon” is something that is said to indicate a rare event and astronomically means there are two Full Moons in a month. More significant is the cosmic event of two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign.

Both Taurus and Scorpio are strong willed, determined and resourceful signs. When these polarities are heightened, events are brought into play where we see issues and contrasts around security and transformation, acquisition and letting go, personal power and power over others, self-esteem and self-conquering, easy going and intense, focusing on the tangible and penetrating beneath the surface.

Over the next two months the odds have been doubled providing the opportunity of reaching our highest potential and transforming our lives by letting go of those issues that have held us back. Scorpio’s penetrating insight allows us to experience ourselves as more than a physical body and to confront energies and laws that transcend the material plane.
