Harold Hanson Sacked councillors, where are they now?
Mercury 30 June, was most interesting and insightful into the private personalities of our ex-councillors. It certainly appears that what we thought about these councillors transfers into their private lives.
Those who would readily put up their hands again should certainly be considered, since they were not mentioned at ICAC. They certainly seem to be still passionate about their areas
Dave Martin, a primary school principal and Alice Cartan, a concerned housewife, former Ward One councillors, have certainly not lost interest and are co-conveners for Local Area Meeting One.
As for the lobbyist, the arrogant tight lipped specialist, the liquor transportation expert, and the secret ingredients chef, if there’s a follow-up after the ICAC conclusion on sacked councillors and what are they doing now, the answer will probably be we’re not sure, but we’ll let you know the visiting hours.
