Getting you into shape

There’s a somewhat unique massage clinic now operating from Albion Park which has a passionate approach to a diverse and yet familiar situation right from your very first consultation

Luke Davies and The Bodiworx Team provide services ranging from remedial to relaxation message therapy, which are always individualised.

The remedial therapies are rebateable and you can even use your email to make an appointment.

He says this creative approach is a great facility for those people who might not have the time to call and who wish to enquire about information.

The Bodiworx Team also prides itself on working extended hours. Luke says they understand that clients may work late and cannot always be there within the designated 9am to 5pm appointment times, and the convenience of being able to arrange ‘out of hours’ appointments is it fits into your lifestyle and framework of needs

Being a home – based business Luke says he was always aware that the utmost priority was that the clinic presented itself as completely professional. He says The Bodiworx Team has pride in their professionalism, not only in appearance, but in ensuring that a clean, safe, private and functional yet ambient therapy treatment is provided.

The Bodiworx Team also offer a unique personal training service.
Luke is helped in this area by his brother Troy, who is a qualified personal trainer and has years of experience in the fitness industry.

Born in Wollongong Luke attended Albion Park Rail and Albion Park schools before he decided to get into the workforce.

Although he had been interested in massage therapy for some time Luke persisted with his “meaningless” job until he decided to attend Shellharbour TAFE and eventually graduate as a massage therapist.

Much of his earlier work in the few months he been operating has involved mobile calls, but the good word has spread and has now based the business at 6 Campaspe Circuit Albion Park.

Luke’s personal experience ranges from all conditions to any age group and he is also part of a unique team of therapists who volunteer their time to the Illawarra Breast Cancer Clinic.

“We are particularly offering the benefits massage therapy can provide,” he says.

He says the massage therapy does help people recovering from breast cancer operations as it helps with scar tissue and bringing the shoulders back to their normal flexibility.

The Bodiworx Team services also now extend to corporate massage and some forward thinking companies are using this offer as an incentive to attract, retain and reward their employees.

Making its presence felt

Corporate massage has shown it can improve productivity in all sectors as well as reducing both sick leave and compensation claims in high volume work environments.

Luke says the massage is conducted through the clothes and the clients can expect a 10 to 15 minute massage aimed at de – stressing and revitalising them.

Another area where the Bodiworx Team is dedicated to making a difference to people’s lives, is treating those affected by stress.
They recognise that stress is a major concern for many people especially in high volume jobs and it is all too easy for people to forget about their health.  The Bodiworx Team offers a relaxation massage which enables people to de – stress, alleviate pain and tension and leave the client feeling refreshed and satisfied.

And, says Luke, their unique approach to therapy not only treats the clients concerns but also works with their individual framework.
He keeps up with all the latest trends by regularly attending professional workshops and the like.  “There are just so many different conditions among people that it is vital Tory and I keep abreast of the latest trends.

After seeing this advertisment I made an appointment with Luke for the tightness in my back and neck. I must say that the treatment was specific to what I needed and I would gladly reccomend his services to anyone who needs or enjoys massage. Great job and I will be returning to the bodiworx team.
