The truth is out there – just use Google

So "Googling does not form part of the public sector recruitment process" according to Mr Dunn, Mercury 18, regarding Joe Scimone’s Government appointment.

The process for jobs in the State Government have the heading of The Selection, Interview and Appointment Process.

A selection panel will assess each of the applications received for a job against the selection criteria. Applicants who best meet the selection criteria will be called for further assessment.

The selection committee may use a number of methods to assess your ability to do the job including:  interview questions, work samples, tests and referee and records checks. In this the selection panel will phone referees, carry out a criminal records check.

Seems very thorough, but how do I know this?

I simply put - public sector recruitment process state government new south wales australia - into Google search and found it in about 10 seconds.

It would appear somebody was not upfront on both sides of the interview.
