Your Food

Try a short detox

Assists with respiration and eliminates toxins and fat

Hello all WollongongOnliners, I hope you had a loving family fun Christmas and New Year.

Those of you who are still feeling the aftershocks of the festivities, I humbly suggest a short detox which will help cleanse the blood and organs of all those nasty fats and toxins accumulated over the last few weeks. My quick and easy, no-side-effects detox is outlined below.

In 2008 I had wonderful positive responses from all of you concerning my healing approaches to food. Thanks to all of you who have carefully taken on board my loving advice, and have tried really hard to incorporate my suggestions into your daily routine.

This year I will be running a series of food workshops, six in total, throughout the year. These workshops will cover topics such as weight loss, diabetes, depression, building the immune system, recovering from surgery or illness and building self esteem through self nurture.

There will be cooking (of course) as well as open discussion, Q&A time and seminar time working through our workbooks. The dates for the workshops
will be advertised a month ahead of time and will only take 8 people maximum. Bookings are essential. I can be contacted on 0419 186 723 for more information.

SHORT DETOX - for seven days duration preferably, but no less than four

Drink at least 4 glasses of water everyday as well as:

On Rising
Hot lemon and honey or cider vinegar and honey – 1 teaspoon of each in a cup hot water. Add a little grated fresh ginger. Up to 2 cups.

Breakfast
Fresh fruit salad of grapes, apples, pears, peaches and oranges

Mid Morning
Herb Tea or Miso Soup

Lunch
A mixture of steamed vegetables or vegetable soup. Flavour with miso dressing.

Afternoon
As for mid morning

Dinner
Mixed raw salad of vegetables and dark green leaves, with dressing including garlic and olive oil.

Before Bed
Hot lemon and honey tea or fresh ginger tea. Up to 2 cups.

NOTE: This detox does not suit anyone with Candida or yeast infections. Please contact me for specific detox for these conditions.
