PISCES

With the Sun moving away from its annual conjunction with the disruptive Uranus, life should become more orderly. Hopefully any disturbances over the last few weeks have alerted you to the need for change.

ARIES

The fiery Mars your ruler, planet of competition and action has moved into the water sign of Pisces for the next six weeks. Residing in your solar twelfth house you may require some self -elected time out.

TAURUS

It is easy for you to be swayed by the opinions of others this week as you find it difficult to put thoughts into words. Instead of agreeing to all and sundry ask for more time to process the information.

GEMINI

Negative thinking may have you feeling a little depressed and it is no wonder if you continue to dwell on the gloomy side. Share your concerns with the person you trust to give honest feedback.

CANCER

A situation may arise during the week that has you doubting yourself. Try not to retreat crab like back into your shell as this will only increase the tension but rather express your concerns so as they can be dealt with.

LEO

You have put your own needs on the back burner and the receptiveness you have shown for the needs of others has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. An objective becomes much clearer in a few days.

VIRGO

Be careful that emotional inhibitions don’t keep you locked into a narrow minded or obstinate position. If you are experiencing inner tension or feelings of depression it is time for a rethink.

LIBRA

If a selfish attitude of a loved one has you on the back foot it may be time to make your feelings known. Yes, this could be upsetting but as that is already how you feel what have you got to lose?

SCORPIO

As Mars moves into the water world of Pisces the Fish, that forward thrusting energy we associate with Mars takes on a more fluid like action that can be used beautifully through dance or the arts.

SAGITTARIUS

You may find a situation arises that needs a realistic assessment where you will have to weigh the opportunities carefully, perhaps even testing the waters. Do not make promises you cannot keep.

CAPRICORN

Your patience maybe tested this week but instead of feeling repressed by the turn of events try to loosen up a bit by taking yourself less seriously. You may find the load lightens automatically.

AQUARIUS

Don’t let the movement of Mars into Pisces loosen your purse/wallet for it is notorious for weakening the will power. You may need to use far more self-control than normal over the next six weeks.

The Sun in the signs

In astrology nothing stands by itself; we can’t say anything without considering the whole horoscope. A sense of the entire chart is always more indicative than each placement considered individually. The different factors do not negate each other, rather they change the coloration. For instance a Moon in Gemini with the Sun in Cancer will have different reigning needs and express itself differently than a Moon in Gemini with a Leo Sun. The one will have emotional energy focused within mental sharpness and nerves whilst the other the energy is to be recognized, dramatic with a fresh way of communicating or a new road to travel. Sun in Aries

The first of the fire signs and the beginning of the natural zodiac indicates a new cycle in personal evolutionary development. Along with Libra they both fall at the equinox with the resultant equal day and equal night. Like the start of any new cycle there is fear mixed with eager expectancy; a rushing of desire but just as swiftly recoil at the least hurt.

 If we take the cycle as one of individuation or personality building the ego is still forming in Aries. Hence the need to constantly fulfill or prove themselves, the pioneer searching for new ground, surging forth and is then gone.

These people have a tremendous psychological drive to prove themselves through action and are not merely satisfied to intellectualise their concerns. It is this impulsiveness and lack of forethought that can create difficulties.

Even if we do not have the Sun in Aries we all have Aries somewhere in our horoscope and it is here we are forging a new path, a new cycle.
