Your Challenge

You, your team, a consultant or an adviser have identified an opportunity to improve your business. Restraints of resources, skills, time and/or money prevent you from completing or even starting a project to realise this opportunity

Our Solution

Engage one or more students over the summer break (1 Dec – 15 Mar) for 8 – 12 weeks

to complete these projects.

These students’ broad range of skills, knowledge and in many cases experience, mean

they are able to complete these projects to improve your business. This is done at

minimal cost -we ask that you look to reimburse the student’s travel expenses but

beyond that the university will meet the costs of insurance for students on placement.

The skills and knowledge available include

Accounting

Finance

HR

Marketing

Logistics

Nutrition

Mechanical engineering

Telecommunications engineering

Electrical engineering

Electronic engineering

Information Technology

Software engineering (including databases and website

design)

Computer networking

Additionally, international students can bring their cultural and language skills to your

project(s), should your business strategy require consideration of overseas

opportunities.

The Students

These students help your business realise opportunities. In the process, they gain

valuable work experience and hopefully will have you as an enthusiastic referee in the

future. This experience and this reference will be the boost they need to launch

themselves into the workforce.
