Wollongong Roller Hawks in finals series at Shellharbour
The final four in the national wheelchair basketball competition are the Wenty Wheelkings, Sydney Razorbacks, Perth Wildcats and Wollongong Roller Hawks. The finals series is being played over the weekend of September 17 to 19 at Shellharbour City Stadium, Croome Road, Shellharbour.
Semi-final 1 (3 v 4): Wenty Wheelkings v Sydney Razorbacks at 5.30pm Friday September 17
Semi-final 2 (1 v 2): Perth Wheelcats v Wollongong Roller Hawks at 8pm Friday September 17
Final: Winner Semi-final 1 v Loser Semi-Final 2 at 5pm Saturday September 18
Grand Final: Winner of Semi-final 1 v Winner of Final at 1pm Sunday September 19

South Coast Wolves under 18s miss out on title
The South Coast Wolves under 18 team was the only local Premier Youth League team to make a Football NSW grand final. Unfortunately, for the local team, neighbours Sutherland Sharks were too strong and took out the title by 2 goals to 1.

Illawarra Hawks junior teams in basketball finals
The finals of the State Junior Basketball Championships for under 12, 14, 16 & 18 men's and women's teams were held at three Wollongong venues on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.
The Illawarra Hawks were in the finals in the Men's and Women's for the under 12, under 14 and under 16 competitions. The Hawks also qualified for the finals of the under 18 men's competition.
