Most parents will agree that as their daughters age they definitely become a little more difficult to please. Bless them, but they can become pickier with their food, develop a distinctly singular taste in fashion and usually form definite views of what is and isn’t cool.

It’s a local business set up by salon owner Dee Scrivenor to provide a unique, fun and relaxing way to party and be pampered in the comfort of your own home or chosen venue.  With Pamper Party you can hold a sophisticated, fun and special celebration for your princess and not have to lift a finger. And it’s not overly expensive or difficult to arrange.

Pamper Party hold parties for girls of all ages, and for all occasions.
“We have pampered little princesses from 5 years to grandmothers of 97 years of age - what girl doesn’t like to be pampered,” Pamper Party manager Angela Katipa says.

There are a number of packages available. The most popular parties are the Princess Pamper and the Teen Supreme package, and invitations are provided free of charge.

The Princess Pamper is the perfect pamper party for your little princess and her friends. It comprises a two hour extravaganza of fun and pampering for all. The hostesses will entertain and pamper the girls by giving them a mini facial; nail paint; soothing foot spa and toe nail paint with their favourite colour.

There is even a tiara gift for the birthday girl to keep to remind her of her special day. A chocolate fountain and marshmallows is an absolute favourite for everyone during the party and a fruit platter to go can be arranged.

While the guests are waiting to be pampered they are kept busy creating beaded bracelets or earrings to take home. There’s also karaoke fun with the Pop Stars game on the Play Station 2. All you have to do as a parent is sit back let the Pamper Party girls set up, entertain the girls for a full two hours and then watch them clean up. Nothing could be easier than that.

For the slightly more mature, Teen Supreme is a fun pampering and skincare workshop for girls aged 13-19. The party includes a skin appraisal; exfoliating facial; neck, shoulder and scalp massage; peppermint foot spa; aromatherapy arm and hand massage; tiara gift for the birthday girl and yummy chocolate fountain with marshmallows.

A beaded bracelet or earrings to make and keep; learning how to use skin-care properly and finding out what best suits you (includes a worksheet to take home.)

This is much more an adult pampering and is an absolute hit with the teenagers.

Princess and Teen Supreme Parties can be organised for day or night, 7 days a week, and requires a minimum booking of 10 people.

The staff at Pamper Party can also arrange corporate functions - really an excuse to get a group of women together to catch up and be pampered - called the Perfect Pamper. Firm prices are available on application but the basic Perfect Pamper starts at about $40pp. Other packages are also available and can be created to suit any occasion

The team at Pamper Party want your experience to be as stress-free as possible, and will do everything for you! They set up early, host the party and clean up everything after they are finished, while you sit back and relax and catch up with your family and friends.

They will even take digital photos of your special day with their camera and put it all on a disk and send it to you after at no extra charge.

Pamper Party can hold pampering sessions for any occasion, including baby showers, hen’s nights, girl’s nights in and corporate functions.
