Wolves 15s score goals galore

While there were no Premier Youth League games scheduled for the Wolves last weekend, the Wollongong 15s and 14s played NSW Institute of Sport teams last Wednesday night. The table leading 15s had a merry time scoring 8 goals over their outclassed opponents who are at the bottom of the table. The 14s who are in 9th spot had a hard fought nil all draw against their 10th placed opponents.

Apart from the 15s who are assured of making the 5 team play-offs, the only other teams with an outside chance of making the final five are the under 18s and 16s who are both 6th. However, with only two rounds to play and both teams trailing the fifth teams by 3 points, they would need all results to go their way to make the final five.

Next weekend, the Wolves 13s to 16s play the strong Marconi teams at Elizabeth Park Bellambi with the 13s beginning at 9am on Saturday 26 July. The 18s play their match prior to the Premier League games at 10.30 am at John Crehan Park.
