POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY & POSITIVE COMMUNICATION AT WORK

The Business Women’s Network and the Department of State and Regional Development would like to invite you to an exciting workshop – Positive Psychology and Positive Communication at Work.

The developments from Positive Psychology allow us to gain strength from adversity and find the best from ourselves and those we live and work with.  Whether utilising these skills for our own benefit, for our families or the people we work with, learning more about what skills are required to be an effective leader will enhance our effectiveness in the workplace enormously.

The learning session will be a mixture of presentation of key concepts and theory as well as time for questionnaires, discussion and short activities to enhance these concepts. The intention is to create a fun, fast-paced and interactive learning space that will increase understanding of what is needed to build positive communication at work and give participants practical ideas they can take away and and immediately. Participants can expect to gain insight into

• The field of Positive Psychology especially in the workplace
• Our strengths and how to build on them
• Positive emotions and their role in promoting self-esteem and initiative

Campbell MacBean is an experienced Business Psychologist specialising in executive coaching and leadership development. He has worked extensively with small to medium sized businesses as well as with larger organisations in the commercial and public sector helping business owners and executives to be more effective by discovering their untapped inner resources. He works with individuals and groups to create sustainable change by applying the evidence based principles of Positive Psychology. Campbell is an associate of Executive Leadership Australia.

Through a generous donation from the Department of State and Regional Development, we are able to keep down the cost of this exciting event, making it a very attractive investment in your business development. This is an event that you cannot afford to miss!
